When you lose a pet it can be a distressing experience for both of you. For most of us, a pet is not “just a dog” or “just a cat,” but rather a beloved member of our family, bringing companionship, fun, and joy to our lives.
At Bay of Islands Animal Rescue we want to help animals be reunited with their owners. Below you will find the latest lost and found listings.
We also offer advice on what to do if your pet goes missing, we hope these tips will help you find your pet.
We’re here to help
If you have lost a pet please check out the advice given here, then please report a lost or found animal so that we have all the details and we’ll list your animal this website as well as checking in with our contacts to help you find your missing pet as quickly as possible.
If you have found an animal please click here to report a lost or found form to let us have the details. We’ll then contact you to discuss taking the the animal from you (unless you’re happy to look after them) until the owner is found.
