Chuck is a 4 year-old Mastiff cross who’s living his best life. He came into care as a bag of bones and has been transformed into the handsome butterball you see before you over the last few months. When Chuck isn’t snoozing in the sun and playing with the other foster dogs, he’s shadowing his foster family and snuffling around for treats. Chuck is gentle with children, and loves being scratched behind the ears. Chuck understands some basic commands but would benefit from further training; he is also learning to be more gentle when taking treats from the hand. Chuck loves exploring, so a well-secured property is a must – he’s quite the jumper, so a high fence or electric boundary would be ideal. Chuck does not have experience with cats, chickens, or stock. He is crate trained and settles quickly and sleeps easily through the night. Chuck has been de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and treated for parasites and is in excellent health.

We ensure that all the animals we re-home are de-sexed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and are in good health.
A re-homing fee is charged to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with us, but by no means does this cover the full cost. Therefore we are always delighted to receive donations no matter how small!
