Bay of Islands proudly presents Jacob! I’m very smart, easy to train, active and have a very manly bark to keep you safe. I’m mixed breed. Possibly Sheppard X and around 1 year old. I’ve been trained with the following: Basic commands – sit, come (great recall) no, stop, stay Fetch & Retrieve House Trained (I will always let you know when to go toilet) Crate trained Things I like to do: Keep on top of my training and learn more tricks. Going for runs and walks especially up mountains, beaches and lakes. I love pats, getting cuddles and sleeping with you if I’m allowed sometimes I love to sit before meals so I can give you the coolest double handshake to thank-you for my food. I am very loyal and get on really well with people and animals however I will still need to be introduced to everyone formally.
As with all rescue dogs, Jacob will need some time to settle in. He will be de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health when he goes to his forever home.

We ensure that all the animals we re-home are de-sexed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and are in good health.
A re-homing fee is charged to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with us, but by no means does this cover the full cost. Therefore we are always delighted to receive donations no matter how small!
