Meet Jojo! Jojo is about 5-6 months and was found abandoned on the side of the road at about 12 weeks old. He was skin and bone and covered in mange, riddled with fleas and worms and had lost about 80% of his fur. We weren’t sure he was going to make it but he pulled through!
About 2 weeks after being found, he caught the deadly parvovirus and nearly lost his life a second time. BOI Animal Rescue and his foster family acted quickly and he spent 4 days on an IV drip and we weren’t sure whether he would make it this time. However, Jojo is a fighter and beat the virus!
He is such a loving and special puppy with lots of energy. He loves other dogs and children. He seems to be crossed with red kelpie but we don’t think he will get very big.
As with all rescue dogs, Jojo will need some time to settle in and will need some further training. He is de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health.
If you think you could offer this special boy a home, please contact us using the re-homing form on this page or call Summer on 021 022 06951 and we’ll arrange a home trial.

A re-homing fee is charged to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with us, but by no means does this cover the full cost. Therefore we are always delighted to receive donations no matter how small!
The fee for this dog is $200.
