Cattle X

Bay Of Islands Animal Rescue proudly presents…Lana!!! Lana is a 20kg eleven-month-old cattle cross who has been in care since she was a young pup. She loves people and rarely comes unstuck from the side of her favourite human. Lana plays well with other dogs, and while she can get pretty bossy, she is receptive to other dogs putting her in her place. Lana understands basic commands and is extremely food driven, but still needs additional training as she tends to switch her ears off when it suits her. Lana sleeps soundly through the night in her kennel but loves curling up in her favourite donut bed indoors with her people nearby. Lana does not have experience with chickens, cats, or stock, and appears to be a bit of a huntress when it comes to rodents. She has tons of energy and loves chasing the ball and going on walks, though she is still learning not to pull. Lana would best suit an active lifestyle where she receives plenty of play and exercise and oodles of treats and attention. She has been de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites, and is in excellent health.

As with all rescue dogs, Lana will need some time to settle in and will need some further training, She will be de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health when she goes to her forever home. Adoption Donation Applies
