Meet Midas. This poor boy was found dumped on the out skirts of Kawakawa 2 weeks ago. He’s a young 6 month old pup with what looked like a bite on his back hock. Following his initial vet check he was put on antibiotics till he could be de-sexed. On a follow up consultation he was x rayed and it was found that he had bullets in his back hock. Even worse than this at some stage his hip has been shot, healed and he has learnt to adapt. This poor baby has been to hell and back in his short life. He is good with dogs and kids and will be ready for adoption soon.
As with all rescue dogs Midas will need some time to settle in and will need some further training. Midas will be de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health.
If you think you could offer this gorgeous boy a home, please contact us using the re-homing form on this page and we’ll arrange a home trial. Alternatively, come and see us at The Old Packhouse Market in Kerikeri every Saturday morning.
