Bay of Islands Animal Rescue proudly presents…Rex .  Rex about 14 months old. Rex’s foster Mum Stephanie says he is a lovely boy. Super smoochy and happy, loves cuddles, car rides and playing with other dogs. Fine with cats, doesn’t bother chickens, horses or alpacas through the fence. Excellent on lead and quick to learn. He’s clearly been abused in his short life before he came to me, was very afraid to begin with and few old scars. With new people now, he’ll either run up with excitement, or back off barking, he seems to know who loves dogs and who doesn’t. He’s an active dog but also content to sit next to you for long periods. Needs a home where he can run, but also sit on the couch with you for cuddles.

As with all rescue dogs, Rex  will need some time to settle in and will need some further training. He will be de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health when he goes to his forever home.

If you think you could offer this handsome boy a home, please contact us using the re-homing form on this page or call Stephanie on 02040884408
