Roly is approx 10 weeks old. He was surrendered to BOI Animal Rescue by someone who was unexpectedly with him when his owner went overseas. He is very friendly and although he is good with other dogs he prefers human company and would rather snuggle than run around. This behaviour and the fact he has obviously always been well fed was the reason for naming him “Roly” as he is a bit chubby.
He is quite small at the moment, despite being a little fat, and will be a medium sized dogs once fully grown.
He is in excellent condition and is being fostered on a farm where spends time each day playing in the paddocks with several other dogs as well has having a chance to meet geese, ducks, chickens and cattle. He is well behaved but isn’t particularly interest in playing with the other dogs that much.
Roly is good with children and likes to cuddle.
If you think you could offer Roly a home please contact us using the rehoming form on this page to arrange home trial or come along and see us at The Old Packhouse Market in Kerikeri every Sunday morning.
We ensure that all the animals we rehome are de-sexed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and are in good health.
We do charge a rehoming fee to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with us, though by no means does it cover the full cost so we are always delighted to receive donations no matter how small.
The fee for this dog is $200.
