Bay Of Islands Animal Rescue proudly presents… Stevie! My foster family call me Stevie the Wonder dog and tell me I’m amazing. I’m of mixed origin and approximately 5 years old. I’m desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. I’m blind but this does not stop me loving life and doing most dog things. I learn quickly and follow some basic directions such as sit, come and wait. Ideally a single storey home with few or no steps would suit me best. I would not be suited to a family that likes to move their furniture around, or leave obstacles on the floor or outside. I need a fully fenced and secure yard and sleep indoors. I’m not crate trained as I have a fear of being contained in small places. I love going for car rides and best suited to a harness when I go for walks as this makes me feel safe and secure when I’m out and about. I’m very affectionate and love cuddles and to follow you around. I would especially love someone who wants to hang out all day with me. I love people and get on well with other dogs, I play wrestle with my 7 month old foster dog brother as zoomies are a bit of a challenge for me. I’m now ready to meet my forever family that will love me for being me.

BAY OF ISLANDS ANIMAL RESCUE
We ensure that all the animals we re-home are de-sexed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and are in good health.
A re-homing fee is charged to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with us, but by no means does this cover the full cost. Therefore we are always delighted to receive donations no matter how small!
The fee for this dog is $350.
