A Labrador & a Golden Retriever

Bay Of Islands Animal Rescue proudly presents… Doogal and Nox!

Nox is a gorgeous, lively 1-year-old black Lab with loads of personality and love to give. He’s a typical young Lab — energetic, playful and always keen to be involved in whatever is going on!

He absolutely loves cuddles and attention and is happiest when he’s around his people. Nox is very friendly and affectionate, and he has formed a lovely bond with Doogal, who he very much looks up to like a big brother.

Doogal is an absolute sweetheart. At 2½ years old, he’s a loving, friendly Golden Retriever who thrives on affection and being part of the family.

He’s mastered the classic puppy-dog eyes, particularly when there’s food anywhere nearby, and it’s pretty hard not to give in! He loves attention, cuddles and being around people, and has a gentle, lovable nature.

Unfortunately, their current owners are having to make the very difficult decision to rehome Nox and Doogal. There biggest hope would be to find them a home together. They have a lovely relationship, and Nox especially looks to Doogal as his big brother.

Both boys are extremely friendly, affectionate dogs who absolutely crave human company and attention. We would love to find them a home where they’ll be genuinely loved and included as part of the family.

Both will be de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health when they go to their forever home. Please phone Summer on 021 0220 6951 or click here to complete a pre-adoption enquiry form

Disclaimer: All posts are made in good faith with the person requesting our help and the information they provide. In most cases, Bay of Island’s Animal Rescue has not met the owner or the animal advertised and therefore accepts no responsibility for the rehoming. All arrangements will be made directly with the owner, and any inquiries are to be sent to them unless otherwise stated. Thank you.

The adoption fee is $380. An adoption fee is charged to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with us, including desexing and veterinary treatment. This by no means covers the full cost and we are always delighted to receive donations, no matter how small!
